Welcome to the Mount St. Mary well wishes page. This form allows you to send a message to a loved one currently in our care. Emails are checked every weekday and hand-delivered by staff to residents/clients in the afternoon. Messages received after 1 p.m., on weekends, or statutory holidays will be delivered the next business day. Please note that this tool is only for well wishes. Any other type of communication or messages (such as emails conducting personal business, containing questionable content, or solicitations) will not be delivered and will be deleted from the system.

Any photographs submitted will be printed and given to the client, or shown to the client electronically. Once the client has a printed copy, or has been shown the photograph, the original file will be deleted. Mount St. Mary will not store any photographs, and the person submitting the photograph does so at their own risk. The photographs will not be filed on the client record, nor will they remain in the custody or control of the Mount St. Mary.

    Your legacy is not only tied to how you live your life, but also to the lasting impact your life makes on others… it is the story that you want to be told and how you wish to be remembered.

    Leaving a gift in your will is easier than you might think and it is a powerful way to ensure that Mount St. Mary Hospital can continue to provide the best care for our residents where it is needed the most.

    You may be surprised to learn how big of an impact you can make through a gift in your will. A bequest of only 5% of the rest and residue will help Mount St Mary Hospital purchase much needed equipment, provide essential spiritual care, and enhance music and art therapy programs for our residents. In this way, you are doing more to help than you ever thought possible, simply by giving in a different way.

    I would be honoured to work with you and your lawyer to provide draft will language that is specially tailored to fit your legacy intention – to help you tell your story.

    General Bequest

    I direct my executor or trustees to pay or transfer ($__________, or ____ of ____ shares, or ___% of the rest and residue) to the Marie Esther Society (also known as Mount St Mary Hospital) (charitable registration #11904 8205 RR0001), for the general purpose of the Mount St Mary Hospital as the Board of Directors or its successor may from time to time determine.

    Designated Bequest

    I direct my executor or trustees to pay or transfer ($__________, or ____ of ____ shares, or ___% of the rest and residue) to the Marie Esther Society (also known as Mount St Mary Hospital) (charitable registration #11904 8205 RR0001), for the purpose of _______________________ at Mount St Mary Hospital. In the event that, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, it should become impractical or inadvisable to apply this gift for said purposes, the gift may be used for other purposes consistent with the spirit and intention of the gift.
