“If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else,
you will have succeeded”
~ Maya Angelou

Since 1941, Mount St. Mary Hospital has been home for those unable to care for themselves but don't need acute care services. At MSMH, we embrace a Home Life Model of Care. Donations alleviate loneliness, helplessness and boredom by offering a variety of living spaces, and engaging residents in meaningful activities of daily living.

We can do this because of YOU!

Although essential to the health and well-being of our residents, government funding only covers a fraction of the cost of hospital equipment, caregiver education, activities, and supportive programs for residents.

Your gift allows us to enhance the care, comfort, dignity, and respect of vulnerable members of our community. With your help, we can provide equipment, programs, and services to increase the standard of care for the 275 residents and their families who call Mount St. Mary home each year. This includes such things as:

  • Spiritual care
  • Music therapy
  • Art group
  • Therapeutic equipment
  • Sensory garden for residents with dementia
  • Room renovations to ensure safety, comfort, and accessibility

It is easy for you to make a gift to Mount St. Mary Hospital (Marie Esther Society). You can:

  • Make a donation online
  • Complete the attached donation form and mail your cheque payable to Mount St. Mary Hospital at 861 Fairfield Road, Victoria BC  V8V 5A9

Sara would be pleased to answer any questions you may have and to provide confidential, personal advice to help you give in a way that suits your timing and preferences—whether that's a gift now, on a monthly basis, or through your estate.

Thank you!!

We value and appreciate your consideration, kindness, and compassion. All of our donors, regardless of the size of their gift, help us deliver comfort, happiness, and peace of mind to countless residents and their family—now and in the future.
